My favourite part of shows like You’ve Been Framed are when they show the clips of animals doing stupid stuff - and top of the list of funny, stupid animals are always the cats.

I have had a few cats as pets and none of them have seemed particularly stupid so I don’t know if I’ve just been lucky and all the rest are morons or whether it’s just because there are so many cats in the world that there are bound to be a few less intelligent ones out there.

As a BMW 120d driver, I often cast an admiring glance at the range-topping 130i model as and when I see them out and about.

It’s the kind of car that I always wish I owned, but if I had the chance I would probably baulk at paying all that money to buy a car - and then plenty more on top to insure and run it! That doesn’t stop me admiring them when I see them though, and the sound from the engine is simply superb.

It’s a big night tonight for football fans as the home nations continue in their quest to book a place at the finals of the European Championships next summer.

England are traditionally the best option of a nation from the UK qualifying, but things are not going all their own way so far.  In fact, despite their protestations that several players are “world class” they have actually been struggling for a little while now and that makes tonight’s game crucial - if they lose or even draw then qualifying is going to be a pretty tough task.

This is still rather dominating things on blogs and forums, although things have slackened off a bit since yesterday.

The Committee in charge of organising the London Olympics have come out in defence of the logo - or “brand” as they call it - and I can understand why they are probably a bit miffed at all the attention it’s receiving.  Most people are complaining that they could have done something similar themselves, and all for a lot less than the £400,000 this image is reported to have cost.
