The Thrills new album is out this week, which I’ve been quite looking forward to for a wee while now.
I have phases of liking their stuff a lot, and then other times where it seems a bit wishy-washy but hopefully the new album will make me feel the former more than the latter!
The album is avaiable with a bonus DVD for a limited time, and usually these aren’t worth the extra money, but this one actually looks as if it’ll be quite good as they have released quite a few clips onto the interweb for people to watch.

As I hinted a few weeks ago when talking about the BBC series Children Fighting Cancer, it takes something like that to make me stop and really think about things - mainly about how lucky I am.
Something has happened recently which has again made me realise how fortunate I am to be as apparently fit and healthy as I am.
When a person is born a certain way (whether it be fully functional, or with a defect) they just accept it for what it is and get on with things. As they become older and start to compare their lives to those of other people then they may start to feel differently, but on the whole most fit and healthy people don’t give that health and fitness a second thought unless prompted to do so by something or someone.

This clip shows some pretty awesome ball control skills - especially from a tennis player. There are probably Premiership football players who couldn’t do this with a football!!

Looks like DC could be planning ahead to a new career after he finishes in F1 judging by this movie poster…

As mentioned previously, I was lucky enough to be one of the select few chosen to visit the Red Bull Racing factory, from the thousands who donated money to Wings for Life and therefore had their picture plastered over the Red Bull of either Mark Webber or David Coulthard at the British Grand Prix last weekend.
At first I assumed there would be quite a few attending, then there would be a group photo and that would be that but I was sent an e-mail with the itenerary for the day which started with us meeting at the factory at 10.45am. The e-mail also confirmed who would be going, and the list only included 9 names!
