As much as I dislike a lot of the motorbike riders on the roads, I’ve always liked watching them race on the track.Because of the aerodynamic issues concerning F1 cars these days, the racing isn’t as close as it could be and there is less overtaking as there was in the past. This isn’t the case with bikes as they have obviously got less spoilers etc to disrupt the airflow hitting following bikes.
Crashes in these races can be quite spectacular, as the bikes twitch about and throw their rider off at sometimes quite incredible speeds. It’s amazing to see them so often get back up and try to get their bike started to return to the race.

I mentioned before about stupid phonecalls at work from people who are supposedly wanting to send out a brochure, but end up wanting strange details from you in return.
Basically they act as if they have already dealt with you before and are apologising for not having sent you the latest catalogue, then they claim their company has won a contract with someone or other and therefore have free gifts to give you as a gesture of goodwill but can only send them to your home address - which they want you to give them over the phone.

I don’t want to generalise, but I hate them all.
Well, perhaps that’s a bit too sweeping, but I certainly dislike an awful lot of motorcyclists!
The thing I dislike most about them is that when they don those ridiculous looking leathers, they seem to have to remove their consideration and manners in order to squeeze their bodies in. I say this because at any hold-up in traffic, whether it’s traffic lights or roadworks, bikers fly past you in all directions to get to the head of the queue.
What’s that all about? What gives them the right to avoid waiting anywhere like any normal person?

Hmm, well the fortune which is surely destined to head my way one of these days isn’t going to come through winning the football pools anyway!
It seems that my predictions put the kiss of death on a whole host of teams who should really had better results than those they managed last weekend.
Still, I got a few results correct but not many with the right score! Here are the results :
English Premiership
Birmingham 1-0 West Ham (Right result, wrong score!)
Fulham 1-2 Middlesbrough (Totally wrong!)
Newcastle 0-0 Aston Villa (Not good either…)

The BBC’s website offers football pundit, Mark Lawrenson the chance to predict the scores of the Premiership games on any given weekend and in the past visitors to the site have also been able to offer their own predictions however this has been removed due to the BBC cutting back on competitions pending the result of inquiries into the fixing of votes etc. Why this should stop a free competition which offers no prizes I don’t know!
Anyway, I thought I would try my hand at this prediction malarkey and post them up here to see how I get on…
