I’ve just finished reading this autobiography of Russell Brand, and I must admit I really enjoyed it.
I’m not normally a fan of people writing their life story when they are relatively young - after all, how much can they have crammed into their short lives? Well, Russell Brand shows that there is plenty you can cram into your first thirty or so years and he tells all in this entertaining, insightful and at times quite touching and harrowing read.

I was reading on leyton.org about a 10k run in Glasgow which has been announced for June this year.
It seems a while away, but no doubt it will soon be here - which has made me have second thoughts on whether to enter or not.
Running a 10k race was one of my goals for the year, so when I first read about this one, my initial reaction was to get signed up - then I started to think about how “unready” I am to be doing anything like that distance.

At last!
My mobile phone contract is due for renewal at the end of this month so I decided to have a look around for a better deal - loyalty doesn’t pay remember.
I’ve been with O2 for years now and I decided that I was going to find the best deal I could and then offer them the chance to match it or I was off to pastures new.
Having checked my old bills, I text a lot more than I talk - in fact some months (most months in fact) I don’t use any free minutes at all, so I was looking for a package with mainly free texts.

Steve Jobs’ MacBook Air unveiling has met with mixed responses - from those who think it’s the best thing ever (and would have thought that about practically anything Steve Jobs had unveiled) to those who don’t quite see the point (me included).
Yes it’s an amazing piece of engineering, and shows the massive clout Apple have within the industry when they can persuade Intel to go back to the drawing board to redesign their Core 2 chips, but to me it seems like there are too many other compromises to make the Air seem a wise purchase at this time - unless you really need to send a laptop through the post in as thin an envelope as possible.

The idea that once you are dead, the government can basically do what it wants with your body is one which will obviously upset a lot of people.
Personally, my beliefs allow me to think that once you are dead you won’t really care much what happens so they should be allowed to take certain organs if it is going to give someone else a chance to survive. Other people hold different beliefs though, and that’s where the arguments start.
