Last year I was full of hope and praise for Lewis Hamilton coming into F1 after having seen him drive in GP2 at Silverstone last year, but his first year in the top formula wasn’t all plain sailing.
From a results point of view, last season would appear to have gone almost as well as it could have, however the history books don’t tell the full story.
Not since Michael Schumacher have we had a driver who has divided opinion into two camps so far apart - the lovers and the haters. For some reason, neither driver has many people who are simply indifferent towards them.

The hot topic of the day is of course what happened in qualifying for the Malaysian GP earlier on today.
The session was a little mixed up due to the constant threat of rain which ensured most of the teams went out earlier in each session than usual to put in a decent time in case the heavens really did open - which they didn’t in the end.

TV [2] Comments
Since the dawn of time the TV schedules have been littered with quiz shows, some which stood the test of time and stuck around for ages and others that only survived a year or two.
The ones I remember being on when I was growing up are things like Mastermind, University Challenge, A Question of Sport, Countdown, The Krypton Factor, Fifteen to One… and so the list goes on.
These shows are obviously all different, but they are similar in one way - everything depends on the skill and knowledge of the contestants. Okay, you had to be lucky enough to get the questions that you knew the answer to but apart from that there wasn’t any luck involved.

In a somewhat frank interview, Michael Schumacher has pointed the finger of blame squarely at Ferrari’s Felipe Massa over his spin at the first corner of the first race last weekend.
Claiming that Massa was in too low a gear for the corner which in turn initiated the spin, he is also quoted as saying both DC and Massa were to blame for their coming together later in the race, but places more of the blame on his ex-teammate.
You have to say that David could have been a little cleverer about it, but there is no question that Felipe was the cause. Michael Schumacher

…how many colours did DC manage to beat out of Massa?
Coulthard is thankfully keeping up his blog on his own website this season and has posted an update following the opening race in Australia.
As with everything in life, there seems to be more to this story than meets the eye and he gives us an explanation as to why he was so angry at Massa’s move which many had blamed on DC, claiming he should have been able to see Massa in his mirrors.
