When I was younger, so much younger than today (I probably owe Paul McCartney a fiver just for writing that!) I was quite interested in photography.  I went to nightclasses and everything!

I can’t remember why I got started with it, but I used to go out and about with my camera taking pictures then head home and develop them in the darkroom that was rigged up in the spare room.  The place stank to the heavens of developing fluid, but the pictures were normally okay so worth the effort.

Over the last few years, more and more gadgets in our lives have been made available with some form of wireless connectivity - from cordless phones in the house, mobile phones for use outside the house, to wireless internet, wireless headphones, remote controls for everything under the sun, etc, etc the list goes on and on.

One drawback, and something I’ve thought about for a long time now- although I wasn’t sure if it would ever actual become available - was wireless electricity.

Oregon Scientific Crystal Weather StationEngadget is quickly becoming my favourite website!

There’s not much better than a good gadget, something that looks the business and has loads of cool features - and so what if some of them are actually of no real use!

The gadget pictured here though, is a new Weather Station which I think is the best looking thing I’ve seen in ages which lets face it, is one of the most important feature of anything which is challenging for a spot in your home. Not only that but it does really have some real-world use.

Sony Ericsson new models - K850, W910, W960, Z320, Z250Trawling the internet for new gadgets (a typically male thing to do on a wet Saturday!), I found this site detaling a batch of new phones which Sony Ericsson have unveiled. The bad news is that they aren’t due for release until nearer Christmas!

I’ve always been a fan of Nokia phones, they are simple to use and relatively fashionable but last year I switched to a Sony Ericsson K800i and I’m glad that I did. The menu system and controls are every bit as easy to use and understand as any of the Nokias I’ve had in the past, and it’s packed with good features.
