Animal clips are the best in my opinion - whether they are actual video footage, or animations.

A little trawl through YouTube has brought up this little lot which have all made me chuckle.

Not sure if the Glesga Dug one will be appealing to those outside Scotland but it did make me laugh, though I have to warn you that there are some sweary words in it if you are easily offended - so let’s get it out of the way first.

It’s an obvious reworking of the old Creature Comforts clips, but I think it works quite well!

When the time comes, some people simply get down on bended knee to pop the question to the lucky lady, some may just drop it into the conversation that perhaps the time has come to get married. Others have maybe had the need to ask the question forced on them by circumstances, or have felt that there is pressure from an outside source to get on with things.

The common perception is that things were done properly in days gone by, and today’s youth simply have no class, no sense of occasion about these things.

As much as I dislike a lot of the motorbike riders on the roads, I’ve always liked watching them race on the track.Because of the aerodynamic issues concerning F1 cars these days, the racing isn’t as close as it could be and there is less overtaking as there was in the past. This isn’t the case with bikes as they have obviously got less spoilers etc to disrupt the airflow hitting following bikes.

Crashes in these races can be quite spectacular, as the bikes twitch about and throw their rider off at sometimes quite incredible speeds. It’s amazing to see them so often get back up and try to get their bike started to return to the race.

F1 Racing magazine points out this ad on YouTube which features ex-McLaren drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen, which I thought was quite good…

Over the years there has been many an advert made which has highlighted the association between a sports star and a product - as usual some good and some bad.  In the main I think it can be good to see a different side to people, get to know a bit more about their personality - assuming they have one…

The most recent batch of adverts to hit our screens in Britain feature the media’s darling, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, and again some are good….
